From zero to live radio in 5 minutes.

Create your station

Sign up

Go to aweradio.app/signup and sign in with your Google account. It's free, no credit card needed.

Name your station

Choose a station name and a URL slug. Your station will live at yourname.aweradio.app. Pick a brand color to make it yours.

Upload music

Go to your station dashboard at yourname.aweradio.app/station/ and click Upload. Drag and drop MP3, M4A, FLAC, WAV, or OGG files. They'll be on air within a minute.

Share your link

Send yourname.aweradio.app to anyone. They can listen instantly from any browser — no app required.

Tip: Upload at least 5-10 tracks so your station has variety. A single track on loop isn't the best first impression.

Go live on video

This is what makes AWE Radio different. You can broadcast live video from your phone or Mac while your music plays underneath.

Download AWE Studio

Get the Mac app or run it on your iPhone via Xcode. Sign in with the same Google account you used to create your station.

Go to the "Go Live" tab

Tap Go Live. Your camera and microphone will activate. Listeners will see and hear you, with your music playing as a bed underneath your voice.

Talk, DJ, host a show

Your music automatically ducks to 20% volume when you're live. Use the mic/camera toggles as needed. Hit End when you're done — music returns to full volume.

Your admin panel is at yourname.aweradio.app/station/. From here you can:

Upload and manage tracks
Change your station name and brand color
See listener statistics
Delete your station

Music licensing

You're responsible for having the right to broadcast the music on your station. The good news: there are lots of options.

Your own music? You're good to go.
Royalty-free music? Totally fine.
Commercial music? You'll need a license from a performing rights organization.

FAQ

How long until my station is live?

About 1-2 minutes after you upload your first track. The streaming engine picks it up automatically.

Can listeners hear me on mobile?

Yes. Your station works in any browser. Listeners can also find you in the AWE Radio iOS app.

Do I need to keep my computer on?

No. Your music streams 24/7 from our servers. You only need the app open when you want to go live on video or manage your library.

What audio formats do you support?

MP3, M4A (AAC), FLAC, WAV, OGG, and AAC. We stream at 128 kbps HLS.

Can I use a custom domain?

Yes — you can point your own domain (e.g. radio.mybrand.com) to your station. Set it up in your station settings.

Is it really free?

Yes. No credit card, no trial period, no hidden fees. We'll introduce premium features later for stations that outgrow the free plan.

Can I delete my station?

Yes, anytime from your station settings. All data, tracks, and analytics are permanently deleted.
