AWE Radio is a hosting platform operated by Retro 87 AB (Sweden). We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid takedown notices submitted in good faith.

What a valid notice must include
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material on AWE Radio claimed to be infringing — please provide a specific URL.
- Your contact information: legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rightsholder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rightsholder or authorized to act on the rightsholder's behalf.
What happens after you submit
- You receive an automated confirmation with a ticket ID.
- We review the notice and, if valid, remove or disable access to the identified material.
- We notify the broadcaster who uploaded the material so they may submit a counter-notice if applicable.
- Repeat infringers are subject to our repeat-infringer policy and may have their station permanently terminated.
- Action is typically taken within 7 business days.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was filed in error, you may submit a counter-notice by replying to your removal email with the subject line Counter-notice: [ticket ID]. A valid counter-notice must include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to local jurisdiction.
Misuse
Knowingly submitting a false takedown notice is a violation of 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and may make you liable for damages. We log all submissions, including IP and metadata, for record-keeping.
